Introductory Fly Tying Course

Interior Fly Fishing Co. proudly presents "Learn the Art of Fly Tying"

 This beginner's instructional fly tying course is geared towards those who are thinking of getting into the wonderful world of fly tying but don't know where to begin. We will provide you with the knowledge, tools, and techniques to create your very own essential patterns for our local BC Interior Stillwaters.

Led by Professional Fly Tyer and Guide Brandon Molzahn @tyingismyvise; this 3 week course will cover all of the basic food sources that are so prevalent in our local waters. Bloodworms, Chironomids, Damselfly nymphs, Scuds, Leeches, and attractor patterns are all on the menu plus detailed instruction of how to effectively fish them.

  • 3 x Two hour in-person instructional sessions
  • All rotary vises and tools included (Course Use Only)
  • All course materials and supplies provided 

 

 Course Dates - Wednesday nights 7:00pm - 9:00pm

  1. September 18th, 2024 - Introduction to Tools, Bloodworms, and Chironomids
  2. September 25th, 2024 - Damselfly Nymphs and Scuds
  3. October 2nd, 2024 - Leeches and Attractor Patterns

Course Price - $150.00 plus applicable taxes
