I was born in the Lower Mainland and shortly afterwards, my family and I made the move to Kelowna. Since then, I have grown a strong passion for the outdoors. Having some of the best stillwater fisheries in the world, I quickly became obsessed with fly fishing. I have spent countless hours, on many different lakes, and yet, I am still driven for that next take. Fly fishing is an ever-evolving sport that has allowed me to grow into the angler that I am today. I strive to share my knowledge and develop anglers across the world. If I am not on the construction site helping people build their forever homes, I am on the water, expanding my knowledge in the fishing industry. It’s a dream of mine to share unforgettable memories on the water with the best of people.

I was born and raised in Kelowna BC. Being raised in the Okanagan I grew up with 100’s of lakes at my fingertips. My preferred style of fishing would be Fly Fishing, there is just nothing like it. I have been Fly Fishing for well over a decade now. Any day I have off, you will find me out on our pristine local Stillwater lakes or our local river systems chasing BC’s beautiful Rainbow Trout.
Growing up, I was a handful. I remember the day when I made my first fishing escape. I must have been 4-5 years old. I grabbed my fishing rod, my tackle box and snuck out of the garage then crossed the street over to our neighbors Koi pond. Many goldfish were caught! As we say, “The tug is the drug” and those first tugs developed into this lifelong love I have for fishing. If I could do one thing for the rest of my life, I would be fishing or taking people fishing.

My name is Jason! I was born and raised in Southern Ontario and have a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Waterloo in Geography and Environmental Management. I have been passionate about fishing ever since I could hold a rod in my hands. I will fish for anything that swims in lakes, rivers, and under the ice. I started my roots as a guide in Northern Ontario focusing on Bass, Pike, Walleye, and Brook trout. I moved to Kelowna in 2018 and started working at Trout Waters Fly and Tackle. Since then I have dialled in and further developed my true passion within the sport: fly fishing! I am extremely interested in aquatic entomology and enjoy tying flies in my free time. I love to spend time on the water with great people, and am out every possible moment I can!

Growing up in the beautiful Okanagan Valley, I have been immersed in all things outdoors since a very early age.
My parents love to fish and have always instilled in me a reverent respect for the many resources surrounding us. Between bicycle rides with my brother to the local creek with a fly rod slung over my shoulder or weekends spent on a mountain lake beating the water to a froth with my casting; the allure of fly fishing has been unquenchable my entire life.
I now have the honour to work for companies in British Columbia, Colorado, and the United Kingdom as a Professional Fly Tyer. These partnerships have allowed me the opportunity to use the most innovative materials to create imitative fly patterns that not only catch fishermen's eyes but produce results.
To me, fly tying is therapy and fly fishing is religion. Each body of water presents a unique puzzle to navigate that can vary from day to day. Combine that with the pure elation of feeling a fish at the end of your fly line, fooled by a fly of your own creation...the tug truly is the drug! If you have any interest in learning how to tie your own flies, or just want to dive deeper down the fly tying rabbit hole; don't hesitate to reach out.
Tight lines friends!

From a young age, Fly fishing has been instilled into my life. My father invested many years on the water and in hand, passed it down to me.
My passion for fly fishing turned into what some may call an addiction at the age of seventeen as I got my first truck and boat. Since then, I have spent hundreds of days learning, studying and perfecting the sport we all love of fly fishing.
I am an avid fly tier, and my evenings seem to be heavily consumed by this portion of the sport. Besides still waters, I have a background in swinging flies for steelhead and salmon in northern BC.
In the off season I often find myself bow hunting, shed hunting and backpacking throughout the interior region. My passions are found in the outdoors, and I look forward to sharing my experiences.

My name is Corey and I was spawned right here in beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia. Living as an avid outdoorsguy and a passion for all things primitive has kept my gear dirty and my face hairy.
Happiest on the water, you can find me chasing rainbows with my amazing wife, Lauren, and our furry companion, Arlo.
When I'm not on the chrome pursuit I'll likely be in the backcountry hunting or sitting around the fire with a beer poorly singing along to a Merle Haggard tune.
