2020 Stillwater Week Dates Announced!

We are extremely excited to announce the dates of our 2020 Stillwater Week trips, and this year we are doing three weeks in the heart of prime chironomid fishing season!

Whether you are a beginner or seasoned angler, Stillwater Week is aimed towards those looking to capitalize on the best window of stillwater fishing in British Columbia’s interior while learning in a hands-on environment.

The Fishing

Kamloops is graced with over 100 lakes within an hour’s drive of the city limits. Some of which will yield high numbers of fish in the 1.5 to 4 pound range, perfect for those looking to hone their skills and see plenty of chances over the course of a day.

Other lakes, many of which have made Kamloops famous over the years, are known to hold rainbow trout that exceed the magical ten-pound mark.

Each day starts with a 7:30am pickup at the Kamloops Sandman Signature in downtown, where we will transport you and your fishing partner to a lake that is suited to your expectations for the day.

Included on each guided day is the following:

Sample Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrive in Kamloops, BC. Check into Kamloops Sandman Signature. Dinner at local restaurant with guides & guests (optional)

Day 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 – Full days of guided fishing and instruction, rotating guides/guests each day. You can choose to fish with the same partner(s) for the week, or rotate daily.

Day 7 – Depart Kamloops, BC.

Stillwater Week is an event we are proud to put on, furthering the education and experience of anglers both new and experienced. The mission for these trips is to deliver the greatest experience inside of our control, while showcasing this beautiful part of British Columbia we are lucky enough to call home!
